Why we Support Women
Meet the Team
Deola, Founder & Chair
Adeola Onasanwo is a Lead User Researcher and social impact founder with over fifteen years of experience across financial services, consulting, and UK government.
Her current work focuses on public services where poor design and inaccessible systems can seriously affect people who are already excluded.
She studied Anthropology at UCL, a background that continues to shape how she thinks about inequality, behaviour, and power, and later completed an MBA at Imperial College London.
“I founded Pink Dynasty in 2015 after seeing talented women work incredibly hard yet still face barriers unrelated to capability. What started as a small mentoring initiative has since grown into a registered UK charity supporting women through practical career support, financial wellbeing guidance, community events, and honest conversations about the pressures many women quietly carry.
Building PD remains one of the things I’m most proud of. At its core, the work is about helping women feel less alone and more able to build lives that feel true to who they are, not just who family, culture, religion, or circumstance expected them to be.”
Vanessa, Co-Chair & Trustee
Vanessa Roser is a seasoned HR leader with over 20 years’ experience in professional and financial services. She currently delivers strategic HR transformation at a global scale at the international law firm, A&O Shearman.
Prior to this, Vanessa held progressively senior roles at the firm, including Acting Head of HR for the Corporate practice, and spent several years as an HR Business Partner at Standard Chartered Bank.
Her career spans business partnering, graduate recruitment, talent management, international recruitment, compensation and benefits, and large-scale organisational change, with experience working in London, Sydney, and Brussels. Vanessa brings a strong blend of strategic thinking, people expertise, and programme delivery to everything she does.
“I joined Pink Dynasty because I truly believe in helping empower young women.
The charity’s mantra ‘lift as you climb’ resonates with me on so many levels; I have had the privilege of working with people who have lifted me and I hope to think that others feel I have returned the favour as I have progressed my career.”
Sam, Trustee
Sam Ma has over 10 years of experience in digital marketing and design, specialising in web design and SEO. She brings a wealth of creative and strategic expertise, with a strong passion for supporting community-based initiatives that promote lifelong learning and personal development.
Sam studied Biomedical Sciences at the University of Southampton before continuing further scientific studies at Kingston University. She later retrained in Graphic Design at Shillington College, combining analytical thinking with creative problem-solving.
Her multidisciplinary background enables her to take a data-driven approach to design, digital strategy, and user experience.
“I first joined Pink Dynasty in 2024 as a web designer and developer, supporting the charity’s rebrand and website relaunch. I was drawn to its mission of empowering women from underrepresented backgrounds and raising awareness of the challenges and push back they face in their careers and finances.
Returning in 2026 as a Trustee, I look forward to strengthening the organisation’s digital presence and supporting its future growth and impact.”
